The Carry-On Campaign

Providing luggage for children in foster care

No child should have to leave home carrying only a garbage bag.  Please help by donating new or gently used luggage or duffle bags.  In addition, if you are able, please pack them with some of the essential items for children in foster care.  Be sure to to leave some room in the luggage/bag so children can place their own clothing in them as well.  Here are some items to consider including in your donations:

  • Toothbrush & Paste
  • Non-Perishable Snacks
  • Stuffed Animals
  • Hair Brush or Comb
  • Books
  • Journal
  • Flip Flops
  • Crayons
  • Blanket
  • Coloring Books
  • Disposable Camera
  • Flashlight
  • Toiletries
  • Travel Soap
